Sudesco Corp Now Represents SMAR

SMAR has named Sudesco Corp. as its representative for the USA for its line of transmitters and control systems.

Founded back in 1974, SMAR is a worldwide recognized company for the development of pressure, temperature, level, position, density & concentration transmitters, as well as smart positioners and control systems.

Decades ago, SMAR pioneered the implementation of digital protocols as FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus on the field level of process control systems, gaining the name of “First in FIELDBUS”. Then, other technologies were incorporated, such as PROFIBUS and Wireless HART. Nowadays, is leading the development of the O-PAS™ (Open Process Automation Standard) standard, to define a vendor-neutral reference architecture aimed at building of scalable, reliable, interoperable and secure process automation systems, which has been gaining the support of the most important users worldwide.
